Campbell, William - 1850 US Federal Census
William H. Campbell, age 35, was living in Manchester, NJ and working as a boot maker. Living with him was his wife Ellen (25) and her two children from her previous marriage, Franklin (7) and Harriet (4) Peters, and their own daughter Delia (1). They also had another young boy, Peter Campbell (14), although it unclear what his relation was to William.

Wm. H. Campbell, age 45, was living in Caldwell, NJ and working now as a farmer. Family included wife Ellen (35) and children Deliah (11), Mary (9), Abel (6), Janette (2), and Harry (1 mo). Franklin Peters, Ellen's son and William's step-son, was no longer living with the Campbell family, instead living with his paternal grandmother in New York City. There was no record of Harriet Peters in 1860.

William Campbell, age 55, was living in Caldwell, NJ and working as a farmer. Family included wife Ellen (46) and children Mary (19), Abel (16), Harry (10), Zoe (8), and Nellie (1).
Worth noting is the fact that this page of the census not only includes other Campbells and DeBauns, but also Daniel Hennion and his family. Daniel's son Abel would later become Zoe's wife.
Campbell, William - 1880 US Federal Census
William Campbell, age 65, was living in Caldwell, NJ and was back to working as a shoe maker. Family included wife Ellen (55), daughters Zoe (18) and Nellie (11), and grandson Theodore Edward (6), who must have been either Deliah or Mary's son.
The very next name on the census sheet is Daniel Hennion. His son Abel will marry Zoe in 1886.
