    This special schedule of the 1890 US Census enumerated Union veterans of the civil war. We learn that Walter Rutman had enlisted with the Pennsylvania 153rd, Company D, on September 22, 1862, and was discharged on July 24, 1863 after suffering a gunshot wound in his left thigh.
